True North Advises Summit Brands in Acquisition of Dryel Brand from Scott's Liquid Gold
Summit Brands acquired the Dryel brand from Scott's Liquid Gold-Inc.
FORT WAYNE - Fort Wayne-based Summit Brands has acquired the Dryel brand from Colorado-based Scott’s Liquid Gold-Inc. Dryel is an at-home dry cleaner that utilizes a clothes dryer to clean special-care items at home. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Summit Brands is a family-owned business started in 1958 that markets and distributes highly effective, sustainable, and innovative household cleaning products. Summit Brands began with the distribution of a multi-purpose rust stain remover, Iron Out®, and has since branched out to include a broader line of specialty cleaning products under the OUT®, Glisten® and Plink® brands. As a category leader in many consumer segments, its goal is to provide high-quality cleaning products that fit the needs of the consumer with guaranteed results.
