True North Advises Press-Seal Corporation in Acquisition of Sealant Company

Press-Seal Corporation, a leading manufacturer of watertight sealing solutions for the underground infrastructure industry, has acquired a division of an Elkhart, Indiana-based sealant and adhesives manufacturer on January 15, 2021. The acquired division manufactures rubber-based adhesive sealing products. The acquisition complements Press-Seal’s long history of selling adhesive sealing products in the underground infrastructure market.

Press-Seal Corporation is well known in the infrastructure industry as a supplier of rubber pipe gaskets and resilient connectors for use in storm and wastewater systems. “We’re very happy to add these product lines and manufacturing capabilities to the existing Press-Seal offering,” said Press-Seal CEO, Peter Skinner. “More importantly, we add an experienced team of individuals based in Elkhart to the Press-Seal family. These additions will allow us to better serve our current Press-Seal customers.”

A new company, Indiana Sealant and Adhesives (Inseal), was formed for this acquisition. Inseal gives Press-Seal a competitive advantage in the sealing market by ensuring the control of the quality and integrity of this suite of sealant products. “This continues our company’s growth and our support for the underground sealing market,” said Press-Seal President, Daniel Skinner.
