Announcement Team Transition Announcement

True North is announcing a number of team changes, most notably the retirement of Monte Lightner. Since Monte’s indication of his intention to retire, True North has been making careful plans to transition responsibilities. Today, we are pleased to share the news of two additions to our team and one promotion.

Retirement Monte Lightner, JD, CPA (inactive)

Monte has been an integral member of the True North team since 2003. Managing Principal, Chris Goeglein, shared, "Monte was the first partner to join me following the formation of the firm over 21 years ago, and he has been instrumental in our success over the years. Beloved by clients and trusted professional advisors, Monte’s expert counsel, steady demeanor, and winsome personality will be greatly missed by all of us."

Monte’s retirement became effective in early September, but he retains his True North email account and is available to consult with us as we navigate this transition. Feel free to reach out to Monte to wish him well.
